I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (East Lansing, MI) in Mar 2014
Interview
There were multiple levels of interviews. I had one phone interview, and two face to face meetings with HR reps, and one with the VP of HR. Others in the company had more or less, depending on the level of need for hiring and where they were in the month to schedule interviews. I was contacted frequently and quickly with more information. It is very helpful to have contacts and referrals within the company, though that does not guarantee an interview or offer of employment. They are very interested in candidates who express a desire to learn and engage with their team, co-workers and local community.
