They posed as middlemen for a company I applied for. Didn’t think anything of it because initially I applied for the position on the company’s website and received confirmation of my application submission via a no reply email that didn’t match the name of the company I applied too. I assumed this was a similar thing. Turns out that wasn’t the case after doing this 30 min video interview with no response after completion. The crazy part is is that the AI interview seemed relevant and asked specific questions which made me even more sure that this was a legitimate interview but after doing research I realize that’s not the case.
