I gave an online interview about making financial models. I later got an email from their recruiter that you can apply by filling out a form, no need to give another AI interview. It had a field for hourly rate, There is no option to say - I want to negotiate with a human. I tried to get an acceptable figure from online searches, even using couple of AI searches but the search results vary a lot. So I emailed the recruiter asking for the range, but I got no response. So after waiting for couple of days, I filled a number given the AI. Seems it was over what they were ready to pay, as I never got a response. Companies should give an estimated pay in advance or it turns out to be a waste of time.

The interview process is very simple and straightforward, and the AI interviewer Zara has an “attitude” that I prefer to most human interviewer – always positive but pushing the question in the right direction.
