The interview took around 22 minutes and it was with an AI. Overall it was a good experience. The AI was better than I expected it to be and the questions were fairly easily answered and related to the position
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time where your influence changed a process that was already established
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Micro1
Interview
It was an AI interview. Feels a bit odd. The AI can repeat the questions. Still, super weird.
I watched the video tutorial where an employee of Micro1 walks you through how the AI interview works, basically you have to share your screen, enable your microphone and camera, you are asked not to have multiple monitors or any extra devices, so that you can't cheat on your answers, and then you have 30mins to complete the "interview".
It was an ad on LinkedIn, and then they send you to the AI interview that takes 20 min. After that they offer you to create profile on their HR portal. Go there only if you want to practise the interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Micro1 (Auckland, Auckland) in May 2025
Interview
There is NO Business Analyst position opening after all.
Applied online, interview link received immediately. It was my first time interviewing with AI, and it was a good experience. It's better than 1-way video interview because AI gave feedback after you answer each question. However, you can't stop talking during answering the question for more than 2 seconds. Otherwise, it decided you have completed the answer. There is NO business analyst job exist after all. People say waste of time training the AI, but I see this in another way, it give you the opportunity to train your interview skills through the AI interview.
