After applying for the position, it took about 2 weeks to hear back from the hiring manager. We emailed back and forth and we were able to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was not too difficult. At the beginning, a brief description of the company, the specific group, and the position itself. Then followed by simple questions regarding my experience and resume. This led to a second video conference interview with the same manager and some of his group members. This interview was much more extensive and difficult. Lots of questions regarding my resume and some behavioral questions.
