Interview
The interview process with Microdesk was fairly straightforward. First stage was an online application via the company website, HR screening call, call with the local Regional Manager, and a video conference with executives was the final stage of the process.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Microdesk in Feb 2012
Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter after i submitted an online app. We spoke for 20 minutes and, as usual, it sounded like the best place on earth to work. The next step was a phone interview with a regional sales VP. I spoke with him for about 1/2 hour. He reeked of micro management., complete with meetings galore, product training, sales training, and a weekly conference call every monday from 5-6pm.
We spoke of the actual job and my relevant work experience. However, re-selling other companies products does not require a great wealth of experience, considering clients already know what they want, or are just renewing their service agreements.
We parted friends. The next morning, I contacted the recruiter and declined any further interest.
