A recruiter reached out to me by email. They scheduled a quick 15 minute phone call with me to get to know me and see if I was a decent fit. Later the same day I was informed that they would like to schedule a 30 min call as an interview. The interview ended up being over zoom and was broken up into a few parts. The host started by describing the position, the responsibilities and a little bit about the company. The next portion was about me. I gave a small talk about who I am. The interviewer then asked me questions about my experience and getting specific examples. We ended up talking for about an hour and at the end I was told the recruiter would reach back out to me with further communication. It was a couple weeks before I heard anything back as they interviewed other candidates. I had a second phone interview where I talked more specifically about how I would fit into the role given the previous descriptions and my plans to handle the tasks.
