Interview
The interview will likely include a few straightforward pseudocode exercises and some basic database-related questions. The overall difficulty should be relatively manageable, with most questions focusing on fundamental concepts rather than advanced algorithms or complex system design. You may be asked to explain your reasoning, walk through your approach, or identify simple issues in a piece of pseudocode.
There may also be questions about how you normally use large language models in your daily work or studies. For example, you could discuss how you use LLMs for brainstorming, debugging, learning unfamiliar concepts, reviewing code, generating test cases, or improving documentation. It would be useful to explain not only what tools you use, but also how you verify their output and avoid relying on them without checking the results.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Micron Technology (Boise, ID) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of an initial recruiter phone screen, followed by a virtual onsite interview.
The onsite included multiple rounds covering data structures and algorithms (LeetCode-style problems), behavioral questions, and some system or design-related discussions.
Overall, the process felt somewhat challenging in terms of coordination and communication. In particular, the recruiter interaction felt a bit rushed, which made it harder to fully present my background and ask clarifying questions. During the onsite, the interview styles varied across rounds, which made the experience feel less consistent.
