This is for new grads. I started off with a 1:1 interview at my campus and was later flown in for a full day of interviews (6 more 1:1s). The 1:1 interviews were all similar with questions covering Design Problems, Behavioural, Brainteasers/Programming. Design problems are usually quite open-ended. The interviewer puts you in a situation to design something, giving you minimal instruction for what to design to begin with. Ask the interviewer lots of questions to begin with and get a better feel for your direction. Understand your market, your customer. Then move in to design, asking questions all through. Behavioural questions are typical. Given its a Program Manager position there is some particular focus on management, conflict management etc... Brainteasers/Programming are not intense in exact technical coding. That is for the SDE/SDETs. But as PM they like to see talent and insight into solving problems with algorithms. Brainteasers are no longer a huge part of MS interviews but still remain. Take a stab at some online. The interviews on the MS campus were quite relaxed. People acted and dressed casually while maintaining a respectful professionalism. I was surprised and pleased with just how friendly everyone was. Connect with your interviewer and enjoy a few laughs.
