I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2021
Interview
Had an initial phone screen with a relatively easy coding question, then 4 rounds of interviews. Of the 4 interviews, 3 were technical and 1 was mainly behavioral questions. Of the 3 technical interviews I would rate the difficulty as 1 leetcode easy, 1 medium, 1 hard.

Question 1
1 - Given a list of strings, return all strings that are palindromes.
2- Given a list of integers, return all prime numbers.
3- Given source code file, how would you write a program to remove all comments form the file?
Walking into the technical round, I had an unexpected moment of déjà vu when I was asked to find the lowest common ancestor in a binary tree. It was just like the question I had practiced on prachub.com a few days earlier. The interview also included designing an LRU cache and reversing a linked list, which I felt comfortable with too. Overall, the process was smooth, starting with a recruiter screen and a couple of phone interviews. I received an offer, but ultimately decided to decline.
