1. Applied Online-Microsoft Website 2. Phone Screening- Got an email a couple days after to set up a time for the phone screening, this took about 30 mins. 3. Group Interview/ Activity... Waited 1 month for the response this was only because the store is new so it was before the opening and they needed people to hire, I knew it would take this long because they indicated around what time the store will be opening. During the group activity you want to stand out, they ask simple questions so raise your hand and answer as many as you can! Myself I am sort of bubbly I smile and laugh a lot, I talk.. but not too much! So listen to this! There was this guy sitting beside be answering every single question in depth, he seemed like he knew a lot about computers and Microsoft products! He didnt get hired.. I think this is why... Because he talked so much they maybe found it annoying, he sort of had a dull personality. Me on the other hand didnt know anything about products but was smiling all throughout! Theres a partner activity where you introduce your partner to everyone, you have to get up in front of everyone and tell them why they should hire your partner, where they currently work, what position they are applying for, and what is something interesing about them.. I said I spoke 4 languages and they were really happy about that! 4. One on One with assistant manager- This was more of a conversation, it was very relaxed, she asked me about myself, my previous work experience and what i liked and hated about them, where i see myself in the future and so on. 5. Final Interview with Store Manager- very relaxed as well, more of a conversation than an interview, asked about my life and why I want to work for microsoft.
