I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Microsoft in Sep 2023
Interview
Long interviews where the person mainly spoke and barely asked questions. They barely follow up with you, I had to ask the employers several times for updates and timelines and he was never able to respond.
Really old school way of hiring.

Name one project you worked on that didn't go well and how did you contribute to that process?
I recently completed the process and everything went perfectly. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and well-organized from start to finish. There were no issues or delays at any point, and communication was clear throughout. I’m very satisfied with how everything was handled and would definitely recommend this service to others for its professionalism and reliability.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft in Jan 2025
Interview
The process was very straightforward: Met with recruiter, Hiring manager, and then 3, 45 min interviews with people on the team. Most questions were behavioral.
I will say my experience with the recruiter was the WORST recruiter experience I have ever had. He ghosted me throughout the interview process, would not answer questions, and then when I got the offer he backed me into a corner giving me a 12 hour deadline to decide, with no flexibility. From what I gather, this experience is not uncommon at Microsoft. Please beware of these recruiters-- go in eyes wide open. In this employees market they have no incentive to be nice to you, you are just a number to them. Their behavior was egregious and borderline unethical. BEWARE
