Initial overview call was recruiting was stood up and rescheduled, second was somewhat informative but not immediately clear of specific area responsibilities or growth areas. After providing additional materials and previous work, was ghosted.

Note* the title of the position has been changed to Paid Media Manager since I last saw on LinkedIn. Probably one of the most unprofessional interviewing experiences I've had. I spent a total of 4.5 hours interviewing with this company. Did not follow up after my Zoom meeting with their President. I was told throughout the process that they are interviewing other people. I was told by HR that I'm "lacking years of experience." Yet I was asked to continue to each round... Also, HR has no idea how to send a proper link for a Zoom meeting so you have to follow up with her constantly. Clearly someone is "lacking experience." First Round: 1.5 hour Zoom meeting with the hiring manager. At one point he asked me if I have anything going on in the afternoon because he had a call after our Zoom meeting and 30 minutes to spare. I should've known after this to stop the interview process and wait for the jobs market to rebound, but I'm a glutton for punishment. Second & Third Rounds: 1 hour Zoom meeting with the Assistant General Manager. Honestly, who has this title in 2020? Dwight Schrute? 1 hour Zoom meeting with Product Development After both of these rounds I was told that they are still interviewing other candidates . Yet somehow (miraculously) I was asked to the fourth and final round. Fourth Round (drum roll): 1 hour Zoom meeting with the President who didn't understand what audiences are. Afterwards, I was told I would hear back. When I followed up if they made a decision I didn't receive a response. THIS is a text book example of a company wasting a candidate's time. COVID-19 has devastated the job market and Midea doesn't think twice about taking 4.5 hours of someone's time. Not counting the additional time put into prepping for these interviews and consolidating notes.
