The interview process was fairly simple but not very smooth. I was a referral, and the HR reached out to me directly to schedule the interview. However, when I asked for the job description, HR did not share it and instead jumped straight into emphasizing a six-month non-compete clause that I was expected to agree to. I found this approach to be unprofessional. Throughout the discussion, the HR representative came across as hurried and dismissive, not really listening to my questions or concerns. The focus seemed to be solely on pushing me to acknowledge their terms. Additionally, when talking about the compensation budget, HR mentioned internal parity as a fixed constraint without even considering my experience or background. While I understand that every company has its own budget criteria, I felt the way this was communicated was poor and not in line with what one would expect from a prestigious firm like Millennium. One of my friend who recently declined their offer also mentioned the same thing about the unprofessional way of communication by their HR which i didn’t believe at first but after my experince i echo her.
