I was given no understanding of the type of interview(s) to expect, nor was I given indication of who I would be speaking to. Interviewer 1 (LDN) immediately mentioned "I've spoken to a number of your colleagues" and described the London site as "it feels like a satellite office but I can just do whatever I want" along with "yeah way too busy, I didn't have any 9-5's last year". They asked for my availability for a second interview and then didn't come back to me for 3 weeks, despite me following up. Interviewer 2 (NY) began by highlighting they knew someone (they thought was) in my org at my current company, which was followed by a number of mis-aligned questions about my team's remit. They seemed intent on emphasising how busy the role would always be and kept giving the impression the interview was using up their time. Unfortunately, neither interviewer made any attempt to 'sell the role' or make it sound appealing, and due to a number of comments that had been made, after interview #2 I decided I would withdraw if they asked to proceed to a next stage.
