Someone I used to work for was slated to start as a PM. He wanted to bring me on as his lead researcher. Had everything set. Business Development people wouldn't allow him to hire the people he wanted. They refused to allocate a standard first year guarantee for me. No reason other than they wanted to save money, even though they had already allocated the money in his contract. They dragged their feet for months until it was too late for me to join given my own non-compete situation. PMs at Millennium do not get to choose who works for them. Business Devs want to dictate who works where. Pretty bad deal for PMs.
