Traditional process: first a phone interview followed by the in-person interview. I was referred for this position. I was informed that the first part of the process was a phone interview then if I made it past the phone screen, I would go to an in-person interview phase. The phone interview went well, but I was informed that the hiring group was looking for a different set of skills from the one that I had.
