I applied online. I interviewed at Milliman (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I got a video interview to record answers for about nine or ten behavior questions, then got a small project to work on. After that I never got feedback from HR.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Milliman (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2019
Interview
This was an all-day interview, with a nice lunch in the middle. I ended up in five overall interviews, all of which were two-on-one and two of which were on a video chat line with the Milwaukee office. The first was 'top-grading', meaning that the interviewers delved into my life starting from high school onwards as a means of assessing my personality. The next three interviews dealt with topics such as 'Why Milliman?', technical abilities and some more basic interviewing questions. The final interview was with the subject matter experts relevant to my position. I was told between my fourth and final interviews that they were going to evaluate me for a different position than the one that I originally came in for (Healthcare Analyst--->Pharmacy Analyst) because they were still hashing out what they wanted from the position. While the team was affable, incredibly intelligent and personable, I was a bit non-plussed by the lack of clarity around the role and how they saw me fitting in. I ended up receiving an offer elsewhere and took it shortly thereafter, as I was fairly confident Milliman wasn't going to offer me.
