Milltown Partners Team Assistant interview questions

I applied online and got invited to the interview process. My first round of interviewers were super warm and engaging but the second round of interviewers were awful, awkward, and incredibly uncomfortable. They literally just gave me awkward silence after my every response to their questions? They asked about my communication style, I answered, and they gave me stares and silence, they asked how I deal with conflict, I gave my answer, and again they just stared in silence. A day before my interview they sent me two scenarios to prepare verbal responses to; which is fine, but these weren't really complex scenarios that required intense planning. They were very straight forward but again I was met with awkward silence after I gave my responses. Their questions weren't really hard questions either but they were the kind of questions that just didn't require deeper, more thought out answers. But anyway, when it was my turn to ask questions one of the interviewers truly could not care less. It was obvious they were just answering as quickly as possible to get it over with and I found this to be incredibly disingenuous.
