I applied online. I interviewed at Milwaukee Tool (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
Had a recruiter interview with standard questions. After that, a manager reached out to me asking for an interview at X PM on a specific day. Weird.
Interview was full of standard behavioral questions. Interviewer never went off script and felt mostly uninterested and disengaged.
Got an automated reject after a week.
I think it's ok for a manager to tell the recruiter they aren't interested in a candidate early on than waste the candidate's time on a pretend interview.
