Interview
Round 1) Phone call with a recruiter
Round 2) Take home technical task
After round 2 they gave me the feedback "your solution was at a Software Engineer level, not Senior Software Engineer". I am currently a Senior Software Engineer and have been for several years. It is rude and unprofessional to tell someone they are unqualified for their current job.
As written, the task wasn't difficult. Unfortunately, based on the feedback I received there are several things that Mindex wants you to do that are unwritten. The task could be improved by asking for all of the things you want to see instead of expecting people to meet unstated expectations.
