The first interview with recruiter was very interesting, the email that I received to fix an interview slot had some joint files about the company, STAR method and a link for a talk about databases indexes. This made me very motivated to proceed in the process. The second interview, technical, with a senior engineer, it was totally the opposite of all of that. I didn't feel motivation from the interviewer, I think he should pass many interviews per day so he was like satiated. It was basically question-answer, no room to dig more about my questions or to challenge me, if you know you know, if you don't know you don't know. Even when my answers were incorrect, he didn't take time to correct or complete me. During the interview, he was doing something else on his laptop, sometimes when finished my answer, there was 2/3 seconds of silence til he realized that I'm done... Voilà, two interviews of two different atmospheres.
