I was contacted by recruiter to arrange a call with them. After an informal call with them, I had 1 interview with hiring manager, another with VP of sales and a final one with 2 members of the team. I had to be flexible with arranging 2 of these interviews in the evening as the whole team is based in the US. I was told at each stage that the interview went well and was promptly asked to share my availability for the next interview, i was moving through the stages quickly until the final stage where I did not hear from HR for days and then weeks. I emailed them to ask when the decision will be made and was told 'in the next few days' and that 'interview went well' so I thought that based on this an offer might be made, considering how complimentary interviewers were. I then kept waiting and waiting and heard absolutely nothing. I then followed up again and after a while was sent a copy & paste reply that they use as a standard rejection email, without any explanation as to why I was rejected or why I had to wait this long for a reply. It seems they were stringing me along for reasons unknown to me. Surely, if they thought that I was not the right candidate for the role, I would've been rejected straight away. I then, later checked and position was still not filled so it seems they don't know what they are looking for. It was not a good experience overall and I would advice to not bother with the application process and go and find a company/future colleagues that would actually respect your time, experience and what you bring to the table. Plenty of companies out there that treat candidates in a respectful manner, Mirantis isn't one of them.
