The recruiter reached out to me to ask if I was interested in the role. The call ended with both parties showing interest, and I received an email with a form to select available times to meet with the hiring manager.
After a few days without any updates, I followed up with the recruiter directly, but I received no response. If I was not suitable for the role or if the hiring manager had decided against moving forward, it would have been respectful to provide an update or at least acknowledge my multiple messages. It was highly unprofessional for HR to 'ghost' a candidate they initially contacted.
