I had an initial screening with the recruiter. The recruiter had told me they try and complete the interview cycle in 7-10 days (very fast). After that I had and an interview with the hiring manager. Heard nothing for over a week and then got an email from the recruiter saying the interview with the hiring manager went really well and they'd be reaching out to me in the next two days to schedule the panel interview with some of the team members. That was the last I heard from them. An email stating they'd reach out soon for the next interview and then ghosted ever since. The team was really nice. This was just the most bizarre interview process ever. Just to get through the first two interviews took over a week, why tell me you do the full five rounds of interviews in 10 days? Why email me to tell me the interview went well and then say I'll be moving on to the next round? Just incredibly strange.
