Recruiter was 10 mins late for call. Told me they are very busy, and they "only hire the best" (red flag imo).
Hiring Manager call was odd. HM was very disinterested in my experience, and didn't bother to hide it. Told me the work I had done "wasn't a lot", and interjected with opinions on how I should have done my previous work (more red flags).
It would have been more helpful to know what they were actually looking for, instead of passively insulting my work because it's different from what you prioritize at your company.
I'm not really bothered by it, as I had received an incredible job offer that day from a unicorn company. For those who are still looking for a job, keep that in mind - this whole thing is a game of chance.

Heads up that Mission Lane is using getrocket.io (aka Rocket Recruiting), who knowingly engages in illegal spamming practices to find candidates.
I was cold contacted by a recruiter multiple times at a private email address that I have never used for job search purposes, and I have never consented to receiving unsolicited messages from them.
If Mission Lane is willing to break federal laws just to hire you, I can only imagine what they do after you're on board.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mission Lane
Interview
Talked with the recruiter who was nice and passionate about the company. He provided nice overview of the company and the process. I scheduled my onsite a few weeks later.
The first interview was a coding interview with a couple of engineers working on a problem. It was a great non-leet code problem to solve.
The second interview was a behavioral interview. It was mostly about testing if you were excited about the company and what they do. I was interested, it was simple.
The third interview was a system design interview. The interviewer was detailed about what he wanted.
The last interview was with the hiring manager. Honestly that was the least favorite part of the interview. When we started the interview he seemed annoyed and would continuously cut you off when you talk to him. He gave a vague design question where he wanted some elaborate design for you to come up with. He didn't seem to be ready for the interview and probably wanted someone to BS their way through this interview. I actually turned off when I knew that he would be my manager if I joined.
Honestly everyone I met was nice and it seemed like a good group of people, except the hiring manager, who seemed like a jerk.
