Mission Lane Senior Manager Engineering interview questions

POC applying for the position. Got denied an interview, stating "Regretfully, our company is unable to sponsor new applicants for employment authorization at this time. " I am a US citizen and during the application process I ticked that I am a citizen and don't require authorization or sponsorship. They rejected me solely based on my name. Absolutely shocked. At no point did they reach out for anything beyond stating this.
