I was contacted by an outside recruiter and they setup an interview with Mizuho. The interview with the actual Mizuho interviewer was at night which was kind of weird but fine. The interview itself was kind of a disaster. I have a MS in CS but have an unrelated Bachelors and the recruiter did not let me forget it. He drilled me almost the entire time on whether I was committed to tech and wouldn't lose interest in the field. I have a Masters and 2 years of cybersecurity work experience, it's not like I just switched majors in college. I've had interviews where the interviewer was apathetic, but this was the first time I felt attacked. We didn't discuss anything technical, he was literally relentless on the whole unrelated undergrad degree. I was not invited back for a second interview.
