I interviewed in Toronto office. The interview went quite smooth and it is the HR manager and VP of treasury who interviewed me. At the beginning, they will tell you the big picture of Mizuho bank and what the role is about and tell you they are at expansion and making money blablabla...The questions is fair, not too difficult. The HR manager asked most of behavior questions and the VP asked most of technical questions. They are looking for candidate who have good team spirit, fast learner as well as detailed oriented. And the most important is curiosity! Finally, if you can answer “why mihuzo” very well, there is enough to wow them. Remeber they are a Japanese bank so it is good for you to know Japanese and there is a lot of paper work in daily time.
