I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mobileye (Jerusalem, Jerusalem) in Dec 2019
Interview
Interviewer was pleasant and helpful. Interview was about 2.5 hours long. First part was usual "getting to know you" type stuff, and I was asked to talk about a project I had done. The rest was 3 technical questions in ascending order of complexity.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. I was asked about the most efficient way of sorting numbers within a certain way. The catch was to use extra space and create a histogram to optimize time.
2. given a piece of code - to tell what it does (I was given code that sorts numbers by mod 4)
3. mathematically define the distance of the car, given a picture from a camera behind it. What happens when you change the angle of the camera? The height?
I applied online. I interviewed at Mobileye (Jerusalem, Jerusalem)
Interview
first short conversation with HR, then Phone conversation with team leader, followed by a technical interview, and finally HR interview. In the technical interview, I both had algorithmic question (estimating height), and programming question (computing integral image efficiently)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given a pole in the road, what is its height? this was followed up with more questions, of stereo
First I had a phone call in which I heard about the role and described my knowledge and background, Then I got a home assignment to do on limited time (3 hours).

Question 1
In the phone call I had to describe my background, Then I received a homework assignment to write an algorithm that takes data from sensors measuring in different coordinate systems and calibrates it to another coordinate system using rotations.
First interview on site. Second interview homework.
On site I was asked about how to estimate a line from point, they wanted algebric solution and statistical solution.
Homework was composed of 2 questions, one is a classic leet code question. Second was more advanced about polygon.
