Keeping in mind they are a growing company, I still sent over a cover letter and resume. A recruiter contacted me regarding my interest and we set up a video chat where we got to know each other a little more, went over what Modern Animal stands for/offers as well as having a genuine conversation about what I, as a candidate, am looking for in joining the company. After we wrapped up, I was asked if I would be open to joining another location, but after explain my situation and preference, the recruiter said they'd be in touch and keep me updated through email (which was super thoughtful) for when they'll have another opening for the specific location I requested.
I continued to receive updates from the recruiter about new changes and developments within the company and then I was scheduled a video session with the clinic manager. Similar energy during this interview, I got to know more about how Modern Animal functions and what they strive for and I was asked hypothetical questions (that I personally felt are reasonable and applicable to finding more information about a candidate's work ethic, skills, and personality). After the session, the clinic manager closed with wanting me to be a part of the team, but they'd have to finish a report and I would be contacted by my recruiter.
I'd say within the week, I was contacted by my recruiter asking when a good time on the phone would be and not too long after, I was offered the job.
During each interview, being honest is really important when answering questions and just generally navigating the conversation. I think it did me well in the end. "Skills can be taught, but personality and character is forever" kinda thing.
