I applied online. I interviewed at Moderna (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Informal series one-on-one interviews, lasted about a half day with minimal technical questions asked. The hiring manager and colleagues mostly seemed decent but there was no feedback from anyone for several weeks after until I emailed the recruiter and got a boilerplate answer "we went with someone else..."
The lack of feedback is why I rated the experience negative, not the declination of an offer. It isn't specific to Moderna but to the industry in general-I've had this experience at other companies and thought I'd finally vent. It's really depersonalizing and awful feeling. Best wishes with that cancer cure guys, or let's be honest: a nice return on your investors' money.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moderna (Cambridge, MA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Usual interview with HR phone screening and then phone screen with the hiring manager the following day. Online interview in couple of weeks following that. The whole process was so prompt and the HR was so helpful in coordinating, organizing and helping me with the schedule. The process was smooth and flawless. The team was very attentive and had lots of interesting questions. They were so easy to talk and I had a pleasant experience overall!
