Submitted resume online for different levels positions. After two weeks got HR call. HR was kind and trying to understand my situation as I was out of state candidate. Question were for relocation availability and Experience. I am still waiting on next phase. Hoping for the interview as I am interested in the mission developed by Moderna and looking to relocate.

Interview
I'm now convinced Moderna removes negative reviews whether they are for current and prospects from their page. I have interviewed with Moderna and had a bad impression because:
1) Their communication is not the best. They will interview someone and not follow up at all. When they do follow up, it's 8-10 months after the last contact.
2) They will always try to give you a position that's under your credentials: They always want to hire the best in the industry as many have mentioned, however (somehow), the recruiters will try to get you into a lower position and promise you that people who got hired were able to climb the ladder quick and get the position they initially applied for. That's very bad practice.
3) They will attempt to care about the end-user's experience and ask for feedback to make a bad review turn into a positive one. I have written two reviews that were posted here and gained traction with prospect employees but Moderna removed them after a few weeks of each other.
4) Bonus: I now work in biotech with an employer that has won great place to work consecutively and all ex-Moderna employees who work here have spoken about the toxic work environment. What 90% of them say is the only thing that's good about working here is the pay. They other 10% said they felt tricked into getting a lower position (Same thing that almost happened to me when they wanted to give me a job I didn't apply for).
I was contacted by someone who tried their best to save face for all the bad practices that occurs behind the scenes and for that I'm somewhat thankful because there's a few people out there who want to make things better for the hiring process in Biotech companies. However, apply at your own risk. Good thing is there's a plethora of biotech companies out there with a great culture that will compensate you well (I know because I ended up getting hired by one). And this industry is very small, meaning that chances are we're working with employees that have been to different biotech companies. Ask them about their experience if they ever mentioned they used to work at Moderna and you will be surprised to hear things they all say about the culture there.
