The interview was quite organized, there was some scheduling problems, however they were resolved in a timely manner. The format was a quick HR screen followed by 2 Technical Rounds constructing of an algorithms, database design and systems design (depends on the role and the person you’re interviewing with). The last round is a VP round which is an overview of your past experiences and also some algorithm questions.

Referred by a friend of mine. Recruiter contact on the same day of application. However, recruiter English is not the best, so there's a lot of communication hiccup during the conversation. There will be a HackerRank Test, duration: 2.5 hours. There're 3 coding questions. Interestingly, I solve 2 questions in 1 hour but spend 1.5 hours to solve one last question and still didn't manage to find the optimal solution for it. Next is a technical interview with a lead tech for 90 mins, the interview is not difficult. Cover a basic coding question (maybe Leetcode easy or low medium) and a simple SQL question. Next, there's an interview with the Engineering manager for 2 hours. This is a technical interview as well. We went through some system design scenarios and SQL questions. The last round is a 1-hour chat with their VP of Engineering. I was told that this is a technical round but he actually didn't go into any technical questions but all our discussion is on high-level design and product/process level. They get back to me after 2 weeks with an offer. Overall experience: - Interviewers are friendly and open. - The recruiter did not really handle clear and professional communication.
