      Business Development Interview

      Nov 6, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Moka (Indonesia)

      Interview

Stages: 1) phone interview with HR; 2) online test; 3) video interview with team lead in English, and they gave you some short case questions; 4) case study to do at home; 5) presentation. When I received the case study, I was surely struggling, because I only applied for an intern position and I didn't expect the case study to be so difficult. I actually reached out to a friend, and he told me that he actually received the exact same question (he applied for a Senior position). Isn't it weird that an intern gets the same question as those that applied for a senior position? Not only that, after I submitted my answer, I got an email requesting me to make significant amendments to my PPT. I thought, "If I couldn't do this, then maybe I'm not ready yet for the role, why make me do it twice?". The process is TOO lengthy for an intern role, especially when they never actually hire interns as a permanent employee in the end. I decided to withdraw my application when they asked me to come in to present my PPT.
