Received a text from recruiter asking when I'd be a available for a 45 minute phone interview. Had the interview 2 days later. He kept asking questions about my past work history going back to jobs that were not relevant to the position as if I was interviewing with the CIA. The entire time I'm thinking. Sir, it's a low paying job delivering boxes of food in a little refrigerated truck. I ended up getting a second virtual interview with a local team leader and his supervisor. Approximately 45 minutes asking pretty basic questions, but again I'm thinking. All this for a job dropping off boxes of food in a little refrigerated truck. I was totally not interested in the job for the money. It was for the passion I have for serving the elderly and people with health issues. I did appreciate the Supervisor telling me he was concerned about my tenure from looking at my resume even though I met the qualifications. Basically letting me know in a nice way, he'd be moving on to better candidates. Which had me thinking, Sir the millennial you'll end up hiring won't be making a career with your low paying company. You'd be lucky to get a year and a half. Nevertheless, I knew I wouldn't be hearing from him again. I had already read about how they don't follow up to let you know you didn't get the job. That was very true. I did appreciate the consideration and all 3 interviewers were very kind.
