I got a call from a recruiter at their headquarters the same day I applied online. He was very nice and asked me a couple basic questions then set me up with an interview at the Philly office for the following week. However, he never mentioned that this was supposed to be a phone interview, so I showed up in person to the office. Luckily, he called me before the interview and asked me if I was ready for the call and if I had any questions. I explained that I thought this was an in-person interview and had just arrived in Philly (an hour away from where I live at school.) They were all extremely accommodating and he quickly informed the girls who were interviewing me about the confusion, and it ended up not being a big deal at all. I was there for about 2 hours. The first hour and 15 minutes I shadowed two account directors, then I interviewed with two sales leads separately. I talked to them for probably about 15-20 minutes each, they barely asked me any questions and I think I asked them more. Just focused on why you want to do sales and why Mondo. Both were super nice, friendly, and relaxed. They were very transparent about the long hours and the hard work but both seemed very happy with their jobs. The office was sleek and modern but had a homey vibe--everyone was working hard but also a lot of communication between employees. I haven't heard back from them yet but they said they would get back to me within the next couple of days.
I was spoken to in such a rude manner by one of the sales managers. I have never been treated so curtly before in all my years of interviewing for different roles. I'm not sure if they try to use scare tactics or something over at Mondo, but I have no interest in working for a company with that kind of environment. It seems like they take advantage of young, unexperienced college graduates who are dying to be seen as professionals.

Unfortunately, the internal recruiter never responded to my feedback from the in person interview. I take it that I didn’t get the job, but a rejection is more professional than no answer, especially since we had been in communication for about a week.
