I initially was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn a few months ago. At the time I wasn't looking for a job, but I recently applied. My recruiter, Brittany, was amazing! Mondo's interview process is like no other. Brittany was very warm and welcoming and set me up for success the entire way. I went through three interviews and she would send me reminders and even set up "checkpoints" where we touched base. She really wanted to make sure I was prepared for the interview and gave me tips on what the Mondo team is looking for. During my in person interview, staff gave me the honest truth on the nature of the position (high pressure sales, lots of cold calls, lots of meetings, long hours, weak work/life balance). It hurt walking away from a company as cool as Mondo with great perks, but after deliberation, I knew it wasn't for me.
I was spoken to in such a rude manner by one of the sales managers. I have never been treated so curtly before in all my years of interviewing for different roles. I'm not sure if they try to use scare tactics or something over at Mondo, but I have no interest in working for a company with that kind of environment. It seems like they take advantage of young, unexperienced college graduates who are dying to be seen as professionals.

Unfortunately, the internal recruiter never responded to my feedback from the in person interview. I take it that I didn’t get the job, but a rejection is more professional than no answer, especially since we had been in communication for about a week.
