You walk into a fancy building and see a bunch of young and hip people walking around. Everyone is very friendly and kind and everyone asks you what position you are applying for. This makes you feel really comfortable, which helps the rest of the interview go smoothly. You are brought into a conference room where you meet with an inside recruiter and they ask you basic questions about where you live, why you want to work there, and blah blah blah. Then someone from your department comes in and you can ask them questions about the position. They try to make it sound interesting, but it doesn't really work. Next you meet with your direct boss. For me, my directo boss and I simple talked about sports and beer, and did not talk about the position at all, which I found very weird.
