Met with hiring manager, interview was about 2 hours. They asked very specific questions about the position which manages Coca-Cola distributors. After interview, I was basically ghosted by hiring manager for over a month. Never received offer. Everyone who has received an offer says Monster drags their feet at the corporate level to send offer. I know people who waited 3 months after they were told by hiring manager they are getting the job to actually get the offer letter. The hiring managers are powerless to speed up the on-boarding process. They can tell you off the record that you got the job, but, they cant OFFICIALLY tell you that because they are waiting on their slacker owners. I'm told the reason is basically because the owners don't give AF if the position is open or filled. Their volume and revenue is so high, they really don't care. Also, many have said that they underpay 10-15% on salary. For an beverage brand, that position usually pays a base salary of anywhere between $85-$100k plus bonus of possible 20% of base. But, they only pay $70-$85k base and no official bonus plan. Bonus has no metrics to track throughout year, it's whatever owners decide to share. Some folks could get $30k bonus while others could get $5k. Bottom line, if you already have a job and you can wait for the time it takes (maybe three months) then it's up to you if you want to accept a low-ball salary offer. But, if you're out of work and don't have the luxury of time, Monster probably would be a waste of time because you need a job fast. With all that said, the perks are nice if you like... regular travel, great market share, lots of goodies like wearables and gear, lots of dealer loaders, tons of brand recognition, overall good distributor cooperation (for the most part). If that works, then, this beverage brand isn't a bad place.
