First interview with someone from the headquarters in the US, then another from the Basel site, both roughly 30 minutes. Then after I passed the first two phases, I got invited for about 10 to 12 thirty minute sessions, one was a presentation from me and then just pretty much the same standard chat, 10+ times. I found it exhausting. They are all very enthusiastic about their work and the company though so that was nice. But a few of them were genuienely exhausting to talk to. But then again, someone could enjoy that and not find it exhausting. What I found beyond disrespectful is the ghosting that followed. Candidates are not unfamiliar with rejection, but I found that after this 12-15x thirty minutes interviews with a lot of people, the least that could be done was to leave feedback. And I am not even asking spontaneous feedback, no. I first asked if my application was still considered, then I said I was OK with the decision and kindly asked for some feedback, but nothing. I say, if a company does that, they don't deserve success.
