I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (Singapore) in Mar 2018
Interview
Three interviews, first over phone with HR, followed by online personality test. Then face to face with hiring manager, followed a week later with face to face with regional head, lasting about one hour each time. Got an email about a week after the third interview saying they wouldn't be progressing as I was 'too experienced'.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about relationships and sales skills. Why do you want to work here. Nothing that technical.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Moody's (London, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
I had my third-round interview at their London office with two interviewers — a gentleman and a lady. The gentleman was perfectly professional, asked relevant questions, and appeared to have no hidden agenda. However, the lady — who would have been my direct manager — had clearly not reviewed my CV (she even asked about the notice period for a role I left three years ago) and proceeded to ask a series of disjointed questions. It felt as though she was more interested in extracting details about my sales approach than conducting a proper interview. At that point, I found it difficult to remain engaged and seriously considered ending the interview early. It was a rather unique experience, to say the least.
Very long interview process and lack of communication during the process and the feedbacks were vague. No offer made in the end. It was a 3 steps process with different people
Relatively simple interviews. Nothing out of the ordinary. Quick interview process, one, one on one and then a super day with 4 total interviews. Found out a day or two after the super day
