I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Morgan Advanced Materials
Interview
Very thorough process, starting with detailed discussions with the appointed recruiter and followed by multiple meetings with various stakeholders at the company. Final interviews conducted according to the Topgrading principal and therefore incredibly detailed and intensive. Overall found the process to be very positive and believe that Morgan's hiring methods were much more effective than online questionnaires and other tools that often fail to really understand candidates and can be misleading. Topgrading methodology was, however, in the early stages of roll-out and therefore my feeling was that I was a guinea pig in the whole process, with the Morgan employees not really fully up-to-speed. In any case, I feel that the process overall was effective in giving Morgan a solid understanding of me and my capabilities. The only drawback I would point to would be that despite probing and asking many questions, the answers from Morgan to provide a better understanding of the company, the role and why Morgan would be interested in me were on the whole very superficial. The company made a significant effort to hire me but this was reflected more by looking at the process than getting a positive feeling from Morgan employees, and especially the manager responsible for hiring.

Question 1
No really difficult or unexpected questions. Topgrading process involved more detailed focus on each stage of my academic and professional career, probing as to experiences and what went well / not so well. Key is therefore to prepare a detailed analysis of your career beforehand to understand clearly why decisions were made and what kind of impact / influence they had on career path and development.
