Approached via linked in about role i. Sept, sent CV and took 3-4 weeks to get an interview lined up. Initial teams call chat about experience and around a week or two later was invited for next stage on site which was a 5+ hour drive away but was happy to invest time and money to attend. Site visit was interesting and had a informal chat afterwards. Enquired about next steps upon my return home a few days later and this is where the process started to fall apart. I either got no response to mail or told I would know week after. About 5 weeks afterwards suddenly the role is being split into two, sent a JD for the very similar role that they said I was the perfect candidate for and I acknowledged that I was still interested. A few days later the job was no longer advertised on website, enquired about what was happening and to this day (late Jan) I still have had no word back. Totally disgusted about how I have been treated by them and the lack of communication after I had invested money into travelling (note no offer of expenses made) and the time taken off work to attend the process.
