The interview process was fairly simple and standard. Phone screening was first with the general “tell me about yourself, why you applied, what you’re looking for from your next position, etc.”. The call ended with setting the in-person interview a few days later with the Regional Property Manager. They explained the position in further detail and asked about my ambitions/intentions to remain in the PM field. The last question was my salary expectation, which was a bit outside of what they’d budgeted but they were willing to meet.
They let me know that they’d enjoyed my interview and that the job was mine if I wanted it on the spot.
I received my offer letter a few days later.
The background check was extensive, they called all references and even requested additional when the ones provided couldn’t initially be reached. They also called me to inquire about an address (an exes address I’d never physically resided at) that appeared on my BGC because it didn’t line up with my resume timeline.
Completed my drug screening within 48 hours of receiving notice and started about a week or two from the day I got the offer letter.
