5 rounds technical, one hackerrank test, I went for a front end developer role which is heavy on angular and JavaScript. The guys who took my interview were very polite, system design questions were really meaningful and they twisted lot of use cases. Last two technical rounds were only coding in whiteboard and only geeksfor geeks questions. But hey! The game is not over yet, here comes the HR!! The guy is completely polar opposite then the people I met so far. I was initially offered a generous 65 percent hike, 4 lakhs of stocks and bonus, I was pretty happy to get this amount and I decided to join. When everything was going well, I got a call from the same HR stating my increment will be 46 percent and stocks are gone!! I was in absolute shock, when I asked him about this salary change he said that MS does not give hike more than 46 percent to anyone and is their norm or standard. I went silent and was prepared to decline offer whenever it would come. No response for next 20 days, suddenly HR called me and asked "hey we have revised the salary for you, we need to have a discussion". I was not that interested any more as I have got other offers from other tech companies. He gave me the same offer as initially promised. Now the fun part is bonus, I work in an investment bank and our bonus gets credited around 15 th December. He was pretty surprised to know that my bonus got credited. He gave a long lecture regarding bonus policies in MS. , which essentially means they don't give bonuses so easily. After all these drama he told me the executive director would talk to you regarding your salary and bonus, and then? Surprise!!! No further calls from them for next one week. Even I asked them regarding the calls no answer from them. I decided to send a mail stating I am not interested in this opportunity. The funny part is again no response for next 5 days. Then the HR woke up from slumber and started pinging me in WhatsApp and calling me and I decided to block the contact.
