I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
First round was phone call that was primarily behavioral with a few easy technical questions. Second round was at the office and there were 6 back to back interview. There were more technical questions this round and they might ask you to actually do something on Excel. However, prepare for behavioral as well. They will also ask some hypothetical scenario questions.

Question 1
On this board there are 6 investment opportunities for our client. Which one is the most appealing and why?
The interview process was a great experience overall. I enjoyed the conversation and felt it was a strong opportunity to connect my background to the work Morgan Stanley does. There was a HireVue than one one one.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how you're a good match.
After submitting the application, they provide the online assessment link to all the people, I guess. After taking the assessment, the applicants who are moving on to the next step will have a Zoom interview with HR and a superday (final), respectively.

Question 1
Mostly about fit questions. Not a single technical question was asked.
Well organised, informational, and transparent process. After test there was a hirevue, then a telephone interview and then the superday, all of which was completed in about one month. I appreciated their speed and for not dragging out the process.
