I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England)
Interview
Invited to do phone interview after applying online and completing numerical reasoning test. First phone interview was fairly standard and actually quite enjoyable - it was done with a more junior employee who was more interested in what I knew rather than what I didn't know. Second phone interview was with a Vice President - much more difficult. Always probing for follow up questions and gave little in the way of feedback. Always make sure to have your follow up answers prepared!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No stand-out questions that were particularly difficult - all technical questions were standard DCF and WACC questions. The most difficult aspect of the interview was being asked to go into further and further detail. Lesson learned is that if you're planning on bringing something up, make sure you know it inside out.
The interview process was a great experience overall. I enjoyed the conversation and felt it was a strong opportunity to connect my background to the work Morgan Stanley does. There was a HireVue than one one one.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how you're a good match.
After submitting the application, they provide the online assessment link to all the people, I guess. After taking the assessment, the applicants who are moving on to the next step will have a Zoom interview with HR and a superday (final), respectively.

Question 1
Mostly about fit questions. Not a single technical question was asked.
Well organised, informational, and transparent process. After test there was a hirevue, then a telephone interview and then the superday, all of which was completed in about one month. I appreciated their speed and for not dragging out the process.
