Applied for Morgan Stanley Fixed Income industrial placement from hongkong, HR got back to me within a few days for a phone interview with an associate. Was asked basic competency questions (Why MS, why this division, why you, why Hongkong), after this, further round of phone interview with VP of relevant division.
Had a telephone call with the recruiter. It was nice enough and quite casual; they gave me no instruction beforehand so it was quite unclear that they were even going to call me at all.
