I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (London, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process lasted one month. I had three phone interviews with some analyst from my local office and then the Assessment Center in London. I was applying for an internship in London.
All interviews lasted for 30/45 minutes and in the assessment center I had a numerical test, an individual presentation, a group exercise and two interviews. The atmosphere was very relaxed despite the importance of the assessment. This was very useful to show who you really are without too much tension. I only mentioned the uncommon questions I was asked.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When is the next meeting of the Fed?
What is the BoE base rate?
What is the consensus among economists towards US interest rate hike?
Are you more analytical or communicative?
What is predominant in yourself: integrity or humbleness?
The interview process was a great experience overall. I enjoyed the conversation and felt it was a strong opportunity to connect my background to the work Morgan Stanley does. There was a HireVue than one one one.

Question 1
Mostly about fit questions. Not a single technical question was asked.
Well organised, informational, and transparent process. After test there was a hirevue, then a telephone interview and then the superday, all of which was completed in about one month. I appreciated their speed and for not dragging out the process.
